Jubilee Friends Pre-School is a member of the Pre School Learning Alliance (PSLA) which was formed to support and advise groups that cater for the under fives’ and their parents/carers throughout the country. We offer a service that promotes equality and values diversity in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
A dedicated Pre-School in Essex
The group works in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework document which came into place in September 2008/ latest revision March 2017. Every child will be appointed a key person who will work with you to make sure that the pre-school provides for your child’s individual needs and interests.
Chargeable Extras and Pattern of Hours
The pre-school is open for 38 weeks per year, 30 hours per week, so we are unable to offer stretched options for Funded Early Education Entitlement. Pre-school sessions are 9am to 12pm and 12pm to 3pm. Parents can use their funded hours in 3hr blocks.
There is NO additional charge for any funded hours. If a child is funded for less than 30 hours, any additional hours taken, up to a maximum of 30hrs per week, will be charged at £6 per hour.
We do not charge for non-food consumables.
We do not charge for activities.
Snack is provided each morning at a cost of 50p per morning. This consists of wholemeal toast and a choice from the fruit bowl. Milk or water to drink.
If parents wish to provide their own snack, they are welcome to do so. It has to be comparable to the healthy snack we provide.
